  1. EDITORΓÇÖS INTRODUCTION

  4.     Welcome to the second edition of "The PowderKeg Magazine".   Thank you for taking the time to download and read this file.
  5.  
  6.     I would consider the first edition of the magazine a big success.  I have received letters from many people around North America commenting on both the style and content of the magazine.
  7.  
  8.     I have also been swamped with contributions.  To help handle this task, I have taken three volunteers on to the editorial committee.  Together, we have read and selected from all submitted literature, to put together the collection you find here.  Thank you to Patrick Burton, Michal Jordan, and Carrington Vanston.

  10.     Speaking of Carrington, I am proud to announce that he will now be in charge of the Macintosh edition of the magazine.  Both editions will receive a simultaneous release.

  12.     Furthermore, I would like to welcome Nigel Harding on to the staff of the PowderKeg.  Nigel is stationed at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.  He is doing a fine job of spreading the magazine around the U.K. nets, as well as collecting works from authors who are seeking to be published.

  14.     As an interesting side note, I might add that the magazine will also receive a limited release in Italy.  A good friend of mine  attends the European University Institute in Florence.  There are between 4 and 500 students at the E U I who will have access to the publication.

  16.     Finally, I have taken the opportunity to include a review of a very fine literary magazine, the ACTA Victoriana.  If you would  like your magazine or journal reviewed, you can mail me a copy,  and I will be happy to include both the review, and ordering  information in the magazine.

  18.     I hope you enjoy this edition of the PowderKeg magazine.  If you have any comments, please forward them to me via any of the means displayed on the "back page".  As you can see, this magazine is young and evolving quickly.  Your comments count.
